Searchmetrics is looking for a dynamic Agency-focused Account Executive who is motivated by the hunt to generate new business and has a thirst for learning everything there is to know about search engine optimization (SEO) and content marketing. This is an exciting opportunity to build your network and sell into America’s top enterprises and the SME market. The hire will preferably be based in the Chicago area or Eastern US. 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage sales pipeline from prospect to close
  • Qualify, quantify, and close short-and long-term business opportunities
  • Accurately forecast sales opportunities managed in a CRM
  • Master a complex solution/insights sales cycle, create solutions, overcome objections, close business, create advocates.
  • Collaborate with the SDR team, marketing, product management, and digital strategies teams to drive revenue

Dein Profil

The following are minimum requirements for the Agency Account Executive role:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 3+ years' experience successfully selling complex B2B SaaS solutions to enterprise companies
  • Strong aptitude for technology and data
  • Well-versed in working in a highly digital environment
  • Highly proficient pioneering skills and know-how in developing and exploiting a market
  • Strong researching skills
  • Versed in social selling and solution selling
  • Creative problem solver who takes initiative, is resourceful, and who can work both independently and in teams
  • Sales hunter with a history of exceeding targets in a lean sales environment
  • Ability to analyze, challenge, and develop content and marketing strategies and close business
  • Experience selling technology across marketing functions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A scrappy, tenacious, team-oriented, results-driven winning attitude
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Ability to travel

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience selling into digital marketing agencies OR selling digital marketing agency solutions, namely SEO, into large highly matrixed organizations and companies
  • Experience developing a greenfield territory
  • Experience in proposal development
  • Experience selling into the C-Suite
