Your tasks

As Talent Acquisition Manager for our tech and product department, you will join a 9 people HR-team in Berlin. Searchmetrics is a grown-up, Berlin founded (2007) tech company within the SaaS- and Digital Marketing industry. Help us shaping talent acquisition and bring the way we attract and hire talent to the next level. 

Your mission in detail:

  • Own the end-to-end recruiting process for our tech, product and IT department with focus on world-class candidate experience
  • Partner with hiring managers, build trusted relationships and act as strategic sparring partner to ensure a fast recruiting process
  • Develop and optimise our recruiting process to get valuable insights on candidates in early stages of the process
  • Build candidate pipelines and qualify them through phone, video and personal (competency based) interviews to identify best matching talent
  • Nurture talent pools by developing relevant content together with our marketing team 
  • Reach out to passive talent through active sourcing and excite them of Searchmetrics being the next step in their professional career
  • Write job descriptions that attract the right talent and publish them in relevant channels
  • Deepen relationships with universities to get students and young professionals to work for Searchmetrics
  • Report relevant KPIs

Our requirements

What you bring into the game: 

  • You have at least 2 years experience in sourcing and hiring software engineers
  • You have a proven track record in attracting and hiring passive talent and you are familiar with various sourcing tools and platforms
  • You understand the concepts of software development - you know what you talk about
  • Ideally you are familiar with several interview techniques such as behavioral interviewing
  • You are an easy going people person who is recognized as trusted advisor
  • You have very strong listening skills - you know what makes a matching candidate
  • You have strong problem solving skills as well as an analytical and solution oriented mindset
  • You have business fluent communication skills in English (written and verbal). Other languages, especially German would be a big plus
